Blog 7 - Second Interview Preparation

Hopefully my second interview will be better than the first.
1.  Who is your mentor and where do they work?  If their workplace does not reflect their expertise, what makes them an expert?
  • My topic is Crime Scene Investigation. My mentor's name is Sheri Orellana. She works for the Pomona Police Department as a CSI. Ms. Orellana is very qualified to be an expert in her field  because she has been a CSI for almost twenty years. My mentor also teaches Forensics to numerous students varying in age, giving her the tools to properly mentor me.On top of all this work and teaching she has done my mentor is also apart of several organizations tied to the field she works in.
2.  What five questions will you ask them about their background?
  1. Why did you become a Crime Scene Investigator?
  2. What motivates you to keep working as a CSI?
  3. What sort of educating or training did you complete in order to prepare for your career?
  4. What kind of person does it take to be a Crime Scene Investigator?
  5. When testifying in court how do you prepare yourself?
  6. Are there any other important skills a CSI should have?
